Bird Watcher’s Digest hosted the American Birding Expo from 2015 to 2018, and for four years in a row, we successfully gathered the world of birding in one place. Now we’re ready to do it again!
We’ve joined forces with Re•Think Travel Marketing—a marketing agency for the new world of travel. The Re•Think Team members are experts in hosting virtual events for the travel industry, and they have successfully hosted several large, travel-focused, online events for the tourism industry since the pandemic began. A consortium of seasoned travel marketing professionals, the Re•Think Marketing Team is joining our experienced team at Bird Watcher’s Digest in pursuit of a shared global mission: To help birding tourism recover and rebuild in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Where and When?
We’re planning TWO events. The first occurs on February 11–13, 2022, and will be virtual. The success of this event will serve as a warmup for the second expo, a hybrid virtual/in-person event tentatively scheduled for September 2022. It’s a great chance for you to connect—or reconnect—with the entire world of birding travel.
We know what you’re thinking: You’re growing weary of virtual events, Zoom calls, and online connections. We hear you. To be honest, we’re OVER IT, too. Like you, we want to get back to an in-person, immersive birding expo as soon as possible. Help us do just that by making the February 2022 event a great success!
What to Expect
The Re•Think Birding Travel Expo will have the same great vibes and experiences as the original American Birding Expo. The virtual February event will allow sponsors and exhibitors to schedule personal online appointments and meetings with attendees, to share keynote talks, to answer challenging travel questions in Q&A sessions, and more. The Re•Think Birding Travel Expo will be powerful, productive, and positive for sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees alike.
This is our chance to successfully bring the entire world of birding tourism together in one virtual place in February. We want to connect birders who are eager to travel with reputable birding tour companies, destinations, and products. As we continue to ride the COVID wave across the globe, we know that this is an event we can successfully maneuver virtually, regardless of virus outbreaks in various places, or the spread of mutations and variants.
Highlights for Attendees
